May 1st, 2022
To Whom It May Concern,
We are applying for a partial vacation to the Northern 70' of the 7' PUE within Lot 3, Block 2,
Chelder Subdivision as platted and recorded in book 46, page 2, Lane County Oregon Plat
Records, in Lane County, Oregon and leaving the southernmost 25' of the easement in tact.
This serves as our written statement regarding Eugene codes 9.8715.
The southernmost 25' of the easement is not a part of our request for vacation as it is
presently needed for Eweb utilities, which has been remediated by the request for a
partial vacation leaving the southernmost 25' of the easement per Eweb's request. The
northern 70' of the PUE that is our request for vacation is not needed presently, or in the
future, for public services and does not prevent the extension of such services since all
the neighboring properties already have access to public facilities.
(1) The subject area for the partial vacation is not presently needed for public
services, facilities, or utilities, and the vacation does not prevent the extension of,
or the retention of public services, facilities, or utilities as confirmed by the
concurrences of each of the utilities and the fact that all neighboring properties
already have access to public facilities.
(2) Such public services, facilities, or utilities can be extended in an orderly and
efficient manner in an alternate location by using present routes as confirmed by
the concurrences of each of the utilities/facilities.
Angela Ketel, Andrew Hardman & Card Hardman
