In an attempt to make this happen, there are requests for exemptions for 3 different items of city building <br />codes placed on commercial building sites. (EC 7.420(2)(a)(1); EC 9. 6703(3)(a); and EC 7.420(2)(b) These codes consider <br />the impact of a business on the surrounding area in terms of traffic, etc. The very fact that the variances requested are <br />substantially less than the standards set by the City should alert everyone to unsuitability of this business for this site. <br />Additionally, there is an EMX bus stop right there which will further exacerbate traffic problems if these changes are <br />allowed. We don't need another convenience store or gas station in this area. There are more just a few blocks away. <br />Please do not allow this to go forward. <br />Terry L.
