Said alley to be vacated is bordered <br />on the West, North, and East by Lot 8 of the plat of Town Run [Tax Lot 02400 of Tax Map 17-03- <br />32-22, Lands of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Eugene]; and bordered on the southwest <br />by the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way. The alley lies within the city limits and is <br />undeveloped except for an existing sewer main that lies in a north-south direction along the <br />approximate centerline of said alley. <br />Proposal: <br />Request for approval of vacation of the 14.00' wide alley as shown on the original plat of the City <br />of Eugene as described above. Reserving therefrom, unto the City of Eugene and any of its <br />agencies, an easement for wastewater purposes within the entirety of the vacated area. <br />Overview: <br />The subject alley was created with the recording of the original plat of Eugene City in 1852. The <br />alley has never been developed and has been used by the adjoiner over the years as though it <br />was part of his/her property.
