The fee varies depending upon the type of applica <br />tion and is adjusted periodically by the City Manager. Check with the staff at the Permit and <br />Information Center to determine the proper fee required. <br />Drafting Requirements <br />Major partitions require one original and thirteen copies 18" x 24" in size drawn in black ink. Minor <br />partitions require one original and five copies of 18" x 24" in size drawn in black ink. The original <br />plat must be in substantial conformity to the approved tentative plat and must conform to the County <br />Surveyor's specifications and requirements pertaining to material that has characteristics of adequate <br />strength and permanency as well as suitability for binding and copying. <br />Plats must be in clear and legible form and may be placed on as many sheets as necessary, but a <br />face sheet and an ind_ e_ x pace (only with two or more sheets) must be included for all plats. Scale <br />requirements must be the same as specified for tentative plans, or as required by the City Surveyor. <br />Lettering, any easement dedication and affidavit of a registered professional land surveyor must be <br />of such size or type as will be clearly legible. No part of the plat can come nearer to any edge of <br />any sheet than one inch. <br />Information Required <br />Submission of a preliminary title report <br />The final plat must be in substantial conformity with the approved tentative partition plat. <br />Documents or other materials required as part of the tentative partition plat approval must <br />be submitted, including, but not limited to Irrevocable Petition for Improvements, easement <br />conveyances, street deed, and preliminary title report. <br />Submission of closure computation sheets for the overall boundary, for each parcel, and for any <br />right-of-way in the partition area. Computation sheets must include coordinates on all parcel <br />corners, and necessary bearings and distances for all boundary and parcel lines. <br />Curve information for rights-of-way and for each parcel must be shown on the plat either on the <br />face of the map or in a separate table, including: arc length, chord length, chord bearing, radius, <br />and central angle. <br />The parcel lines of all parcels within the partition, with dimensions in feet and hundredths of feet <br />and with all bearings shown. <br />Each parcel must be numbered consecutively. <br />The area of each parcel must be shown on the partition plat. <br />
