Arm <br />WIPlanning <br />NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL DECISION <br />May 5, 2020 <br />On April 27, 2020, the Eugene City Council adopted ordinance No. 20628, an ordinance concerning a <br />clarification of the relationship between the approved riverfront park permit and S-DR Downtown <br />Riverfront Code. The ordinance was signed on May 01, 2020 and includes approval for the following <br />City-initiated Land Use Code Amendment: <br />Land Use Code Amendment (City File CA-20-1): This City-initiated code amendment is to allow <br />the installation of an art pavilion within a view corridor in the Downtown Riverfront Park. The art <br />pavilion's location was approved by the City Council through a Standards Review as part of the <br />Downtown Riverfront Special Area Zone (S-DR) adoption package. The amendment to the S-DR <br />Zone will allow development within a view corridor if the development is approved through a <br />Water Resource Conservation Overlay Zone Standards Review. <br />This City-initiated code amendment to the S-DR Downtown Riverfront Code was adopted by Ordinance <br />No. 20628. Select the "2020" folder to find Ordinance No. 20628. <br />All related application materials including City's affidavit of mailing and notice to the Oregon <br />Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD), are also available for viewing (or copies <br />can be provided at cost), at the City's Permit and Information Center. *IMPORTANT NOTE: To take <br />preventative measures for community members and staff safety against the spread of COVID-19, <br />please contact the listed staff representative about any alternatives for reviewing materials. Some of <br />these materials may also be posted on the City's website as a courtesy, at https://pdd.eugene- <br />or.gov/LandUse/ApplicationSearch. <br />The City Council's decision to adopt Ordinance No. 20628 is final at the local level. Persons who <br />appeared, either orally or in writing, in the local government proceedings leading to adoption of the <br />ordinance may appeal the City Council's decision to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals.
