I explained that City Facilities staff had taken the proper precautions
concerning compliance with State law and are working with the State Historic Preservation Office closely. Christian
requested documents related to the SHPO Clearance process, which I provided as indicated in the email below.
Rodney Bohner ( Assistant Planner
Eugene Planning Division Land Use Planning
99 West 10th Avenue I Eugene Oregon 97401
541-682-5437 rbohner@eugene-or.gov
From: BOHNER Rodney T
Sent: Friday, April 26, 2019 1:32 PM
To: chill@registerguard.com
Subject: EWEB Warehouse Building
Hi Christian,
Here are the materials you requested. The "EWEB HQ-Warehouse Clearance Form" contains a brief history and
description of the building. I've also included SHPO's response to the clearance form, and the MOA between the City and
SHPO. Lastly, for comparison, I've also included the Clearance Form and SHPO response for the Midgley Building
(currently undergoing demolition and located at the corner of 4th and High St). In this example you can see that SHPO
found the building to be ineligible for listing. Both of these buildings are part of the Downtown Riverfront Development.
1
