December 2018 -The City presented to the International Facilities Management Association <br />(IFMA) on the Steam Plant and the Downtown Riverfront Redevelopment. <br />January 2019 - The City provided tours of the Steam Plant for Leadership Eugene Springfield <br />2017-18. <br />February 1, 2019 - The City and the Steam Plant's development team hosted a booth at the First <br />Friday Art Walk to collect feedback on the Steam Plant project. <br />February 8, 2019 - The City and the Steam Plant's development team participated in a talk about <br />the Steam Plant project at the University of Oregon Ignite event. There were 150 people in <br />attendance. <br />February 11, 2019 - The City and the Steam Plant's development team held a discussion with UO <br />students about the Steam Plant project. There were 50 students in attendance. <br />February 15, 2019 - The City and the Steam Plant's development team presented to LGAC about <br />the Steam Plant project. <br />February 16 & 17, 2019 - The City and the Steam Plant's development team hosted a booth at the <br />Asian Celebration to collect feedback on the Steam Plant project. At the event over 290 people were <br />engaged for discussion. <br />February 19, 2019 - The City attended a Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network <br />event to promote the Steam Plant redevelopment project. <br />Online Presence (Social media, newsletters, etc.) <br />Online presence includes websites, social media, and newsletters sent out through the City. The <br />following two websites have been regularly updated with meetings, decisions, and public <br />involvement opportunities. These sites serve as the main source of information online for the <br />Downtown Riverfront Redevelopment and Steam Plant. <br />www.eugene-or.gov/Riverfront <br />www.euLrene-or.Lvov/steamnlant <br />City Council Newsletters <br />June 9, 2017 - DEQ informational mtg about cleanup <br />August 18, 2017 - The Council Newsletter included recruitment information for the River <br />Guides. <br />February 2018 - Recruitment for one vacant River Guides position <br />April 20, 2018 - EWEB property sale finalized <br />May 11, 2018 - Notification for Steam Plant RFQ solicitations <br />September 6, 2018 - An RFQ submission team was invited to prepare a proposal for the <br />Steam Plant <br />January 24, 19 - Notification of the Steam Plant survey <br />Social Media Posts <br />Summer 2018 - Instagram and Facebook posts for summer public engagement for the <br />Downtown Riverfront site. <br />
