DOWNTOWN RIVERFRONT <br />LAND USE COMPONENTS <br />CA 19-1, RA 19-1, Z 19-5, WG 19-3, ST 19-3, and SDR 19-2 <br />19,2019 <br />■ April 23, 2018 - Council work session and action on the proposed process and criteria to <br />proceed with the RFQ for the Steam Plant. <br />■ July 9, 2018 - Council work session to initiate the land use code amendments and LID <br />infrastructure processes. <br />■ October 22, 2018 - City Council work session to initiate the second step of the LID process. <br />Urban Renewal Agency Board <br />This section includes Urban Renewal Agency meeting and work sessions: <br />■ July 27, 2016 - Agency Board work session and action authorizing the Agency to enter into an <br />agreement with EWEB to purchase the downtown riverfront property. <br />■ October 23, 2017 - Agency Board approved the Mayor's nominations for seven individuals to <br />serve on the River Guides. <br />■ February 12, 2018 - Agency Board work session and action to approve the boundary <br />expansion to include three properties north of 4th Avenue in the Riverfront Urban Renewal <br />District in order to make it possible to use urban renewal funds to purchase this property from <br />EWEB. <br />■ March 14, 2018 - Agency Board work session and direction to staff to develop a Request for <br />Qualifications (RFQ) process and criteria to solicit community investors, developers, and <br />visionaries to redevelop the Steam Plant. <br />■ May 29, 2018 - Agency Board work session on the proposed terms to develop the Downtown <br />Riverfront site with Williams/Dame & Associates (WDA) as the agent. <br />■ June 25, 2018 - Agency Board public hearing on the proposed terms with WDA. Sixteen <br />people spoke on behalf of the project. <br />■ July 9, 2018 - Agency Board work session to approve the proposed terms with WDA. <br />■ July 23, 2018 - Agency Board work session to approve the proposed terms regarding parcel <br />10A. <br />■ October 22, 2018 - Agency Board work session to receive a project update and discuss the <br />affordable housing unit quantities on parcel 10A. <br />■ February 19, 2019 - Agency Board work session to provide an update on the Downtown <br />Riverfront project. <br />Public Meetings <br />This section includes neighborhood meetings, commission and committee meetings, and open houses <br />hosted by the City. All public meetings were open to the public to attend and publicized on the City's <br />calendar. <br />■ November 28, 2017 - The River Guides held their first meeting, an orientation. <br />■ December 12, 2017 - The River Guides reviewed a proposed boundary expansion to include 3 <br />parcels north of 4th Avenue in the Riverfront Urban Renewal District. The River Guides <br />recommended to expand the boundary to include the properties north of 4th Avenue in the <br />Riverfront Urban Renewal District. <br />■ April 10, 2018 - City Staff met with the Sustainability Commission Riverfront Committee. <br />■ April 17, 2018 - The River Guides reviewed and provided input on the proposed RFQ/RFP <br />process and criteria for the Steam Plant.
