Based upon Eugene Planning staff report <br />issued on August 30, 2018, Appeal Issue #1: "The Hearings Official erred in finding that the <br />Willamette River Greenway approval criteria do not apply to the subject application." Therefore, the <br />application should be denied. <br /> People who walk down Lombard St. or Briarcliff Ln. will notice these are narrow lanes with <br />residential homes that fit into the "Garden District" of the River Road Neighborhood.The high-quality, <br />class 1 soil is most valued to our community. We urge you to listen to the neighbors and residents <br />that are appealing this development. Our community has put thought and support making our <br />neighborhood a great place to live. Now is the time for all of our community to come to the aid of our <br />precious Willamette River Greenway! <br /> We simply ask for Eugene Planning Commissioners to work with the neighborhood. Together we <br />can make our parks and nature spaces a desirable, role model community. <br /> Thank you for your time.
