BOHNER Rodney T
From:Julie Hulme <jhulme3@gmail.com>
Sent:Monday, July 16, 2018 4:51 PM
To:BOHNER Rodney T
Subject:Submission to H.O. Fred Wilson (re:Lombard Apt. proposal)
July 16, 2018
Dear Mr. Wilson,
Greetings! On behalf of the River Road Community Organization, I would like to submit the following for
the record and your consideration:
"In response to the testimony submitted by the applicant, the River Road Community Organization (RRCO)
believes the Willamette River Greenway provisions apply. The Willamette River Greenway is important in
protecting the Willamette River from adverse effects, and urges the applicant to comply with all such
standards. RRCO also understands that the applicant has sought the maximum density possible on the subject
property but has not correctly calculated the net density of the PUD. A less dense application that complies
with the requirements of the code would reduce the amount of impervious surface area and increase the quality
of life for neighboring properties, as well as those that would live within the proposed PUD. The PUD is
ignoring important legal requirements, and, therefore, the application should be denied or substantially reduced
in its scope and density."
1
