To obtain contact information for the
neighborhood association, call the City's Neighborhood Services Office at 541-682-6243, htt
www.eugene-or.gov/1128/Neighborhood-Services
The public hearing provides an opportunity to submit factual information or raise issues concerning the application.
If a participant requests an additional opportunity to submit testimony, the City will accommodate that request
either by continuing the hearing on another date or by holding the record open for more written testimony.
The Hearings Official will issue a written decision on the application, after the public hearing and closure of the
public record, as required by the Eugene Code. The Hearings Official will not make a decision at the public hearing.
The applicable procedures for this Type III application are primarily addressed at EC 9.7300-9.7340. The Hearings
Official's decision can be appealed to the Eugene Planning Commission.
Keep in mind that failure to raise an issue at the public hearing, in person or by way of written testimony, or failure
to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to enable the Hearings Official to respond to the issue,
precludes an appeal based on that issue.
