The Applicant is requesting an adjustment from the provisions of EC 9.5500(4)(b) as <br />described in the response subsection EC 9.5500(4)(b) in Part III of this document. The <br />applicant seeks the minimum adjustment needed, to the allowed “enhanced pedestrian space”, <br />in order to meet the 60% frontage requirement along the east side of Lombard Street. The <br />applicant is seeking an adjustment to increase the allowable “enhanced pedestrian space” from <br />“no more than 20%” to no more than 25%. The added enhanced pedestrian space created by <br />this adjustment will flank the north and south sides of Building 2, which anchors the east side <br />of Lombard Street.
