<br />The Applicant is not seeking an exemption to the tree removal standards under EC 9.6885 <br />above. <br /> <br />There are no City-inventoried Goal 5 natural resources on the Site. The provisions of <br />EC 9.6880 to EC 9.6885 do not impose an obligation to preserve any trees on the Site. <br />However, EC 9.6885(2)(a) does impose an obligation to “consider” the preservation of certain <br />“significant” trees. <br /> <br />All trees on the Site have been surveyed and identified in the field by a licensed arborist. See <br />Exhibit B and Exhibit B-2. The Applicant has studied and considered preserving significant <br />trees as required by this criterion.
