I ELL Nick
From:
Sent:
To:
Cc:
Subject:
Answers to your questions:
GIOELLO Nick R
Thursday, November 09, 2017 9:47 AM
'Susan Hoffman'
Faris Cassell; CW Murchison; Cathy Johnson; Tom Bruno
RE: Fwd: CHPUD Questions about emergency access.
Q1-The Fire Department indicated there is a current issue with access along Capital Drive leading up to this site. That is
the essence of the discussion between the Fire Department and Public Works. Separately, as part of the review for the
Capital Hill PUD, Public Works will assess the potential traffic generated from the proposed project.
Q2 -To my knowledge at this point in time Capital Drive is the only road being reviewed. The Fire Department has
indicated that the other route that accesses the site via Cresta De Ruta is not a route they would normally take, unless
Capital Drive was temporarily inaccessible for some reason.
Q3 -To my knowledge at this point in time, Public Works is reviewing the access issue raised in the 3-27-17 letter from
the Fire Marshal's Office. No changes have been proposed at this time.
Q4 - Public Works will submit referral comments prior to the hearing that will provide details on the various criteria
used to assess the proposal. The criteria in Eugene Code 9.8320 will apply and this code section also lists other sections
of the code that will be used to assess the proposal.
Q5 -There are a number of Public Works team members assisting in review of this project. The point of contact for all
communications is through the Planning Department (me).
Thanks,
Nick
Di r -ion
_d
From: Susan Hoffman [mailto:shortgamesue@yahoo.com]
Sent: Thursday, November 09, 2017 9:14 AM
To: GIOELLO Nick R <Nick.R.Gioello@ci.eugene.or.us>; DAHL Mark H <Mark.H.Dahl@ci.eugene.or.us>
Cc: Faris Cassell <fcassell@comcast.net>; CW Murchison <cwmurchison@gmail.com>; Cathy Johnson
<cdjohnson617@msn.com>; Tom Bruno <brunoassoc@aol.com>; Susan Hoffman <shortgamesue@yahoo.com>
Subject: Fw: Fwd` CHPUD Questions about emergency access.
1
