The first submitted site <br />plan showed Cupola in the current proposed location. My guess is they investigated the road configuration in Figure 1 <br />and then decided (probably for good reason) to eliminate the section that cut across the southeast lots where it is very <br />steep and no previous vehicular pathway existed. This is addressed in the same Geothecnicai Report as follows (page 3, <br />February 6, 2017): <br />Preliminary layouts provided to 6El in March 2016 included thirty-six individual lots and an additional access <br />road <br />traversing the steep southeastern slopes on the property (see Figure-1) which has since been removed following <br />site reconnaissance and meetings with the project design team. <br />So, to answer your question, it was NOT a City driven decision. Also, since all the site plans and revision we have <br />received showed Cupola Drive virtually in the same configuration as shown in Figure 2 of the Geotech, there is no other <br />documentation that I can provide.
