GIOELLO Nick
Thank you Nick.
The applicant representative appears to speak for the City on a number of issues related to the planning/development process, future
building permits, etc. Is she correct on each of her statements and if not could you please provide corrections where appropriate?
Also, the applicant rep makes this statement:
And there isn't any situation where the owner of the lot can't meet the criteria.
Sometimes it costs more than they want but we have never met a project/building/road etc. where there wasn't a
solution.
Money solves everything.
For example, underground storage tanks that slowly release the water. No one wants to pay for those but they
might have to.
Or flow through planters. Constructed, typically concrete planters built around the house. Those aren't cheap
solutions but they are a solution. Etc. Etc.
Yet, the application makes a number of statements in the Stormwater Mgmt Plan and Drainage Study requesting waivers from EC
9.6790 to EC 9.6796, due to cost or land (space) requirements...
From: GIOELLO Nick R <Nick.R.Gioello@ci.eugene.or.us>
To: Brent Lorscheider <lorsch2728@pacbell.net>
Sent: Friday, September 22, 2017 3:35 PM
Subject: RE: Question on stormwater plan for a Chpud
Brent,
The following is the applicant's response:
I am here to help in any way I can.
1
