Capital Hill PUD, Tentative (14-020)
August 22nd, 2017
concerns. If alternative detention methods are found to be either more effective or cost efficient,
the use of the 24" detention pipes may be revised.
The peak discharge rate into Destination #4, the western gutter line on Capital drive, is met by
detaining a larger basin area than previously draining to the western gutter line. This required a
larger underground detention tank, but the flow control device adequately reduced the runoff to
match the pre-developed rate.
For additional information on the facility details, or the HydroCAD analysis, please see Appendices
A&C.
4.0 CONCLUSION
The stormwater system for the Capital Hill PUD has been designed in accordance with the City of
Eugene Stormwater Management Manual for Water Quality & Flow Control requirements.
Branch Engineering, Inc.
9
