Branch
MIG'INEERING.
Since1977
February 6, 2017
Dr. Thomas Dryer
2995 Capital Drive
Eugene, Oregon 97405
RE: GFOTFCHNICAL/GFOLOGIC INVESTIGATION
CAPITAL HILL PUD
EUGENE, OREGON
BRANCH ENGINEERING INC. PROJECT No. 14-020
Pursuant to your authorization, Branch Engineering hie. (BEI) has conducted a geotechnical/geological investigation
of the above referenced subject site. Our investigation focused on the proposed Planned Unit Development (PUD)
consisting of the construction of public and private road improvements, utility infrastructure installation, and the general
development of individual building lots for single-family residences.
The accompanying report presents the results of our site research, field exploration and testing, data analyses, and our
conclusions and recommended geotechnical design parameters for the project. Based on the results of our study the
site is suitable for development, provided that the recommendations of this report are implemented in the design and
construction of the project. Specific areas of consideration related to the suitability of the proposed development include
existing site topography, slope stability and landslide hazards, and properties of the existing soil related to the proposed
development.
Sincerely,
Branch Engineering Inc.,
OREGON
Ronald J.
