Specifically, my clients <br />are the owners of approximately 76 acres of real property located within the City of Eugene <br />urban growth boundary ("UGB") and within the corporate limits of the City of Eugene, <br />identified as Map 17-04-32-00, Tax Lots 1500, 1501 and 1503. <br />My clients also own approximately 205 acres immediately to the south, identified as <br />Map 18-04-05-00, Tax Lots 101, 2300 and 5000. This property is currently outside the <br />UGB. <br />In 2012, the Eugene City Council directed staff to identify the 205-acre property as <br />one of four study areas for UGB expansion for single-family residential. This area is <br />sometimes identified as the "Willow Creek Hills" study area. The City Council's direction <br />came at a time when the City was seriously contemplating a UGB expansion for single- <br />family residential. <br />This letter with attachments is intended to support my testimony provided to you at <br />the March 7, 2017 joint Planning Commission hearing.
