I prefer t protect our agricultural land building more densely within
the UGB.
friends and I are seeking more modest homes or apartments, less
expensive andsmaller in square footage. We welcome the idea of
living more simply, leaving us time to engage in social, civic, and
recreational activities.
It is time to get on with the adoption of the proposed expansion of the
UGB and allow neighborhoods to undertake planning efforts.
Thank you.
Tremlett also stated, "Although there has recently been a move toward
urbanizaciones of terraced or detached homes on the outskirts of
cities, most Spaniards still like to live piled up atop one another. Small
towns, as a result, often start in a startlingly abrupt fashion. There are
fields or open countryside and then, suddenly, there is the bare
brickwork flank of the first apartment block. Another is attached to it
next door, and the whole medium-rise townscape can continue like
that until, just as suddenly, you are back out in the countryside." (p.
121)2006)
