I am a cyclist and frequently use <br />32nd and Alder Streets. The increased traffic caused by the huge apartment complex will create even more <br />problems than already exist. At rush hours in the morning and evening it is often impossible to turn from 32nd <br />to Hilyard. Alder is a dedicated bicycle street and it will no longer be safe when hundreds of vehicles are using <br />it as a shortcut from 30th. The situation could be mitigated by reducing the proposed size of the apartment <br />building to a three story one .
