The traffic is very congested along that route not only for Spencer
Butte Middle School, Camas Ridge, Ridgeline Montessori, and Charlemagne schools but students going to
Roosevelt Middle and South High in the morning. Now that a lane has been reduced on Willamette Street,
traffic in this part of town has been significantly backed up in the morning. There are mornings when the
traffic on Willamette Street is backed up from 33rd Street to the former Em's Stadium. To do this to Hilyard
Street will be a real headache. My husband commutes by bike along West Amazon and increased traffic also
will affect his safety along that route.
Please do the necessary expanded traffic analysis and mitigation to ensure the safety and flow of traffic.
Thank you,
Donna Libby
