For the 17+ years I lived on E 31st Ave I faced a <br />stressful challenge every morning on my way to my daughter's school and my work at the UO and Lane <br />Community College when trying to turn left safely onto Hilyard from E 31st. <br />There has already been an increasing amount of traffic over the years in that area, creating stressful and <br />dangerous conditions for children living in those areas as well as drivers. Adding 108 units of living space <br />would compound the problem in ways that can only be imagined. <br />Please reconsider the size of the project, and how it could be scaled back to take into account the livability <br />of the neighborhoods affected. <br />Respectfully, <br />Karin Almquist <br />
