I would also suggest showing the distribution on a quick map, similar to Figure 6 in
the existing TIA. Both site drives and the intersection of 32nd at Hilyard should suffice. That shows the
split/distribution for the AM generation and also demonstrates that no more than 50 additional trips will be
going to an intersection in the study area. You may want to provide a quick discussion/finding of how this does
not effect the analyses/outcome/recommendation of the original study and does not warrant additional analysis
based upon the 50 trip threshold.
Thanks,
Scott Gillespie, PE
Public Works Engineering
99 East Broadway, Suite 400
Eugene, OR 97401
541-682-2706
From: Kelly Sandow [mailto:kellvsandow@sandowengineering.com]
Sent: Friday, December 23, 2016 1:20 PM
To: GILLESPIE Scott N <Scott.N.GiIIesoie@ci.eueene.or.us>
Cc: 'Jon Lauch' <ion@tokateecm.com>
Subject: Amazon Corners AM Analysis.
Scott,
I took a look at the trip generation and distribution for the AM time period. The site will generate 57 trips in the AM
between 7-9 AM. When distribute the traffic we do not add more than 50 trips to any intersection. I will prepare a letter
showing AM trip generation and distribution. do you see any thing else that I need to address in the letter?
