The need to ensure safety and security of pedestrians and cyclists will be considered as
well when assessing which measures might be viable. Sheet C100 has been updated to indicate both the limits of the mapped flood hazard area based
on FEMA FIRM Panel 41039C-1128F as well as the actual area below the base flood elevation.
Both of these areas are located within the WR overlay zone and will not impact the proposed
development.
11. Storm water basins/catchment areas identified on sheet C2 in Appendix C of storm drainage
report. As indicated in the report and drawings, this project will use filtration to treat the storm
water runoff due to the limited area available for treatment. The design and report has been
updated to account for infiltration testing completed as part of the geotechnical investigation.
We anticipate that some adjustment to these will be required based on the final roof drainage
plan and grading design. As such, we would request some flexibility to make adjustments as part
of the permitting process. In order to meet the source control standards of EC 9.6795 (2) (c), we
have included a new inlet in the garbage enclosure at the south end of the project. This inlet is
routed to the proposed private sewer line along the west side of the project.
13. Refer to response to comment #11 above.
16.
