AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY <br />July 27, 2015 <br />To: Eugene Planning Commission <br />From: Heather O'Donnell, Planning Division <br />Subject: Deliberations on Rest-Haven Memorial Park Re-designation & Zone Change <br />(City files MA 15-1, Z 15-1) <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />Hold a Planning Commission work session to deliberate and provide a recommendation to the <br />Eugene City Council on the proposed Metro Plan diagram amendment and zone change for the <br />Rest-Haven Memorial Park property. <br />BRIEFING STATEMENT <br />On July 14, 2015, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on a privately-initiated, site- <br />specific Metro Plan Amendment and concurrent Zone Change for Rest-Haven Memorial Park. <br />The subject property includes two tax lots located at 3900 Willamette Street, between 39th <br />Avenue and Brae Burn Drive (see Attachment A) <br />As addressed in the applicant's materials, the current owners seek to change the Metro Plan <br />diagram designation (the City's land use blueprint map) and zoning of the subject property so that <br />the entire property is designated Low Density Residential and corresponding zoned R-1 Low <br />Density Residential.
