These are 24/7 emissions that I <br />can't turn-off even when I'm trying to sleep. Instead of moving, I have decided to make <br />my stand& give this my best. If these large towers are allowed to go up everywhere in <br />our country, with even thought of putting up antennas in our flagpoles... where is one to move? <br />Many are wondering-is this really about cell phone coverage? There is already a growing number <br />of people from every profession- known as ""the EMF Refugee."" <br />There are any # of dvds that can be watched. Public Disclosure DNA Democracy & the <br />Wireless Revolution, Resonance Beings of Frequency, Take Back Your Power, etc. The local <br />Weston Price group & their international group have been very active in educating the public about <br />EMF radiation from cell towers & smart meters, as have the local Families For Safe Meters. You <br />can watch Eugene's Dr. Paul Dart in a presentation that he gave last year. It's on youtube, as <br />are talks by Dr. Mercola, Dr. Magda Vaas, Dr. BarrieTrower and many others. If you google: cell <br />towers you-tube, I think that you will be as shocked as I was. <br />The emissions from cell tower radiation have been linked in studies- hundreds of them world-wide <br />to changes in cell tissue, dna, & to cancer, suppression of the immune system, sleep disorders, <br />memory loss, behavioral changes, headaches, heart arrthymias, infertility and many other disorders. <br />Dr. Klinghart in Washington State has done studies linking EMF radiation to autism. <br />It doesn't make one feel very safe to learn that in recent times-the members of the FCC, who are <br />suppose to be protecting us are now past, present, and future members of the same industries they <br />are suppose to be regulating. Researchers in our country have walked away from life-long careers <br />because they wouldn't put a spinon their research in regards to the safety of EMF radiation <br />(studies paid for by the industry.) <br />The current US standards for EMF exposure from cell towers are among the least protective in the <br />world. European countries have set the allowable radiation at 100 to 1000x lower than the US. <br />Russia, Italy, Austria, and China have even lower amounts than that. New Zealand is 50,000x more <br />protective than the US standard. It's also very disturbing to learn that once these towers are in place <br />it's very difficult to verify that the radiation is within what the US currently calls safe. <br />Far back in 1996, Federal Legislation was passed in the Telecommunication Act that has tried to limit <br />the cities regulation of these towers. Many consider this Act to be unconstitutional & a violation of ADA <br />laws. Some communities have put a moratorium on the building of any more cell towers until they have <br />more time to examine the issues & until after the Supreme Court landmark case is decided this October <br />2014, T-Mobile vs. Roswell, Georgia. There are also pending state lawsuits and aleast one federal lawsuit <br />re: harm to birds & bees. <br />One of the most disturbing aspects of the cell towers are the currently, unregulated LLC companies that <br />
