PH-51 <br />August 31, 2013 <br />ToEugene Hearings Official: <br />Re: Support for OakleighMeadowCohousing <br />I am writing this letter in support of OakleighMeadowCohousing. I believe that cohousing is an ideal <br />way to create community and that OakleighMeadowis a well-conceived and well-planned project that <br />will be an asset to my neighborhood. The project is also consistent with the goals of Envision <br />Eugene—in particular: compact growth and 20-minute neighborhoods. <br />I live on West Hilliard Lane about a mile from OakleighMeadow. I attended the kick-off meeting for <br />the project that was held at the River Road Annex in fall 2011, and several subsequent planning <br />meetings/potlucks that were held at the home of David and Joan Adee. I felt very welcome at these <br />events and was impressed by the way they were organized. Since that time, two friends of mine have <br />become members of the project.
